Minutes of the 2020 Annual General Meeting held on February 19th are now available to view from the link on the Information page.
For individual reasons, both Steve and Brenda have decided to step down from the committee.
A new Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and Webmaster/Social Media Manager must therefore be elected at this year's Annual General Meeting to be held at the Anchor pub in Little Paxton on Wednesday February 19th 2020. Some roles can be combined as they are currently.
If you are a league member and would like to volunteer or nominate league players you think would be good for the roles, please contact us before the end of January.
All Donations Welcome
We recently donated £100 to the St Neots Food Bank on behalf of Past Players Memorial Trophy winners, the Bell at Great Paxton. Here is their thank you message:
"Thank you very much for your generous cheque of £100.00 which you brought in to the warehouse last week. Please pass on our grateful thanks to your members for their generosity.
This is most welcome, especially at this time of year as we are making up and distributing Christmas parcels to help those in need over the festive period.
Thank you for thinking of the Foodbank and for your support in this way.
2019 League Winners
What a comeback after an 8 year absence from the league. The Anchor lift the 2019 League Trophy. Well done to Steve House and his team!
2019 League Runners Up
The Barley Mow have their best ever league performance losing out by just one point to come Runners Up in the 2019 League Trophy.
2019 Past Players Memorial Trophy
The Bell was presented with the 2019 Past Players Memorial Trophy along with a £100 cheque for their elected charity, the St Neots Foodbank. Unfortunately, captain Simon Black was unable to attend on the night.
2019 Captains Cup Winner
Starting to feel sorry for Phil Sargeant who battles so hard to win a trophy for his team but had to settle yet again for a Runners Up medal in the 2019 Captains Cup. This time he was beaten by Simon Black of the Bell in a gripping final game. Andy Dennis received the trophy on his behalf.
2019 Singles Winner
Congratulations to Giles Beaumont of the Barley Mow on winning the 2019 Singles Knockout tournament for the second year in a row. Phil Wayles of the Crown took the runner up prize adding to his three medal haul this season.
